As fall approaches the calls for flea treatments increase. Most of the calls we get are customers who have already spent a lot of money on over the counter pesticides. When I arrived to my surprise there was a swarm of honey bees guarding a queen. These bees were preparing to find a new place to start a colony. Pretty cool sight. Luckily the homeowner was quite handy with a nice camera and captured a beautiful picture for me to share. Thank you Mary-Jo.

Hornets are very aggressive and will defend their nests. If you see a nest hanging on a tree or on a building you should call a professional to remove it for you. Here is one that I took down today.
